1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Innolift Ventures Private Limited. They apply to every person who accesses Acadera, including students, faculty members, research scholars, independent participants, institution administrators, conference organizers, conference staff, and visitors browsing public conference pages.

Some parts of Acadera may be subject to additional terms specific to a particular conference, institution, or feature (for example, a conference’s own submission guidelines or a payment provider’s terms). Where there is a direct conflict, those additional terms apply to that specific activity, and these Terms continue to apply to everything else.

2. Who We Are

Acadera is an academic platform for discovering conferences, registering for and participating in academic events, submitting and managing research manuscripts, maintaining academic profiles, issuing certificates, and processing related payments.

3. Eligibility

To use Acadera, you must be able to form a legally binding contract. If you are below the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction, you may use Acadera only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, and with the permission of your institution where applicable.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when you register, and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by anyone you share your credentials with.

4. Account Types and Registration

Acadera supports several account types, including student, faculty, research scholar, independent participant, institution, conference staff, and Innolift Admin. Each account type has access to a different set of features, consistent with its role on the platform.

You agree to register for the account type that actually describes you, and not to misrepresent your role, institution, or affiliation in order to gain access you would not otherwise have.

5. Institution-Linked Accounts and Access Codes

Students and faculty members typically join Acadera using an invitation link or access code issued by their institution. Using that link or code associates your account with the relevant institution and determines which of that institution’s conferences you can see and submit to.

Institution access links and codes are for joining only. They are not, by themselves, a grant of access to any particular submission, payment record, or certificate belonging to another user — that access is controlled separately, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to share your institution’s access code or invitation link with anyone who is not genuinely eligible to join that institution, and not to use another institution’s code to gain access you are not entitled to.

Institutions are responsible for the accuracy of the conference, fee, payment, and submission information they configure on Acadera, and for administering their own conferences, invitation codes, and manual payment details in good faith.

6. Independent Participants

Acadera also allows participants to create an account without an institution access code, and to submit to conferences that are configured to accept participants from outside partner institutions.

Any institution or organization name you enter as an independent participant is profile information only. It does not grant you membership in, or authorization from, that institution, and it does not affect which conferences you are eligible to submit to. Eligibility for a specific conference is always determined by that conference’s own configuration.

7. Conference Listings and Organizer Responsibilities

Conferences on Acadera are created and published by institutions or by Innolift Admin. An institution is responsible for the accuracy of the information it publishes about its own conferences, including dates, fees, submission requirements, review process, and any indexing or publication claims.

Acadera provides the platform and tools used to run a conference — it does not organize, endorse, index, publish, or guarantee the outcome of any individual conference, and is not a party to the academic or commercial relationship between a conference organizer and its participants.

8. Manuscript Submissions and Author Declarations

When you submit a manuscript through Acadera, you are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit, including the manuscript file, title, abstract, keywords, author list, co-author details, and any supporting documents such as similarity or AI-content detection reports.

By submitting a manuscript, you confirm that:

• You are authorized to submit the manuscript, including on behalf of any listed co-authors;
• The information you provide is accurate, and the manuscript is not being submitted elsewhere in a way that conflicts with the conference’s originality and exclusivity requirements;
• You have obtained any consent required to list a co-author, including their name, email, institution, and other submitted details; and
• You agree to the specific conference’s submission and review policies, in addition to these Terms.

Where a conference requires payment before a submission is treated as complete, your manuscript is held in an “awaiting payment” state and is not visible to reviewers or the host institution until payment is confirmed — automatically for online payments, or after manual verification for UPI/bank transfer payments. Submitting fake, altered, or unrelated payment proof is a serious violation of these Terms and may result in rejection of the submission and suspension of your account.

9. Ownership of Manuscripts and Intellectual Property

Uploading a manuscript or other content to Acadera does not transfer ownership of that content, or any intellectual property rights in it, to Acadera or Innolift Ventures Private Limited. You retain ownership of your work, except where a separate agreement, publication agreement, conference terms, or other applicable arrangement between you and a third party (such as a conference organizer or publisher) provides otherwise.

By submitting content to Acadera, you grant Acadera a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content solely as necessary to operate the platform — for example, to route it to reviewers, generate certificates, or display it to the relevant institution or organizer. This license ends when the content is deleted from Acadera, except where retention is required for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Peer Review and Editorial Decisions

Review, revision, and acceptance or rejection decisions for a manuscript are made by the relevant conference’s reviewers, editorial staff, or organizing institution — not by Acadera. Acadera provides the workflow tools used to record and communicate these decisions but does not control or guarantee the outcome of any review.

If you disagree with a review decision, you should raise the matter with the relevant conference organizer or institution in the first instance.

11. Payments, Fees, and Refunds

Registration and submission fees, where applicable, are set by the conference organizer or institution, not by Acadera. The fee amount, currency, and payment method accepted (online payment or manual UPI/bank transfer) are shown to you before you pay.

Online payments are processed through our third-party payment provider and are subject to that provider’s own terms. Manual payments are made directly to the host institution’s published UPI ID or bank account, and remain pending until the institution or Innolift Admin verifies your submitted proof of payment.

You agree to pay the exact fee amount stated for your registration category and to provide accurate payment details (transaction reference, payment date, and a genuine screenshot or receipt) when submitting manual payment proof. Fees are generally non-refundable once paid, except where the relevant conference organizer, institution, or applicable law provides for a refund, or where Acadera determines a payment was made in error.

Acadera does not itself set academic registration fees and does not act as a bank or lender.

12. Certificates

Certificates and other participation records issued through Acadera are generated based on information provided by you, the conference organizer, and the host institution. You are responsible for reviewing your certificate details (such as your name and affiliation) and promptly reporting any error.

Where certificate verification or sharing is enabled, a certificate may be viewable by third parties through a verification link, so that its authenticity can be confirmed.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Acadera only for its intended academic purposes, and to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself, your institution, and your submissions;
• Respect the confidentiality of manuscripts and academic material you can access through your role;
• Use conference access codes and invitation links only as intended by the issuing institution;
• Comply with the specific policies of any conference you register for or submit to; and
• Comply with all applicable laws in connection with your use of Acadera.

14. Prohibited Conduct

Without limiting Section 13, you agree not to:

• Submit plagiarized, fabricated, or knowingly false research, or misrepresent authorship;
• Upload fake, altered, or unrelated payment proof, or otherwise attempt to obtain a fee waiver by deception;
• Create an account using another person’s identity, or misrepresent your institution or role;
• Attempt to access another user’s account, manuscripts, payments, or personal information without authorization;
• Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass the security, access controls, or rate limits of Acadera;
• Interfere with the normal operation of Acadera, including through malware, spam, or excessive automated requests;
• Use Acadera to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of another user, institution, or third party; or
• Use content or data obtained from Acadera for a purpose unrelated to your legitimate academic or administrative use of the platform.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Acadera, or remove specific content, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, provided false information, posed a security risk, or engaged in conduct that harms Acadera, other users, or a conference’s integrity — including submitting fraudulent payment proof or plagiarized research.

You may stop using Acadera at any time. Certain records — such as payment, certificate, and submission history — may be retained after account closure for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including academic record-keeping, accounting, and legal compliance.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — continue to apply after your account is closed.

16. Acadera Intellectual Property

The Acadera name, logo, interface, design, and underlying software are the property of Innolift Ventures Private Limited or its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use Acadera as intended by these Terms, nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in Acadera’s own intellectual property.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

Acadera relies on third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, database infrastructure, file storage, payment processing, and email delivery. Acadera may also link to external resources, such as a plagiarism or AI-content checking tool. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

18. Disclaimers

Acadera is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Acadera will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that any conference, review outcome, certificate, or payment verification will be free of error. Academic content, conference details, and indexing claims are the responsibility of the submitting user or the organizing institution, not Acadera.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Innolift Ventures Private Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or academic opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of Acadera — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to Acadera will not exceed the total fees, if any, actually paid by you to Acadera (as distinct from fees paid to an institution or conference organizer) in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Innolift Ventures Private Limited, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of Acadera, or content you submit, including any claim that your submitted manuscript infringes a third party’s rights or misrepresents authorship.

21. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Acadera.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Acadera, new features, legal or regulatory requirements, or operational needs. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Your continued use of Acadera after a change to these Terms takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
